Berry Summer

Some of the favorite times of summer are all the fresh fruit, the sunshine, and the splash in some cool water.  We have experienced it all lately.  And yes if you give an 8 month old a berry he will wear it.  But who can resist!  Much to my disliking, I am trying to be visible in a few more of my family pictures this summer so my children can remember that I did actually exist.

Summer Dayz

It has been so fun being out of school!  I was a little worried about going and doing activities with a new baby and 3 other boys, but so far we have had a blast.  We took off to "Lellowstone" as mr. B. puts it.  And yes we did we got to see a bear.  A nice big grizzly.  We also saw elk, and bison.  We got to visit old friends from college and family.  Go to a water park all day and wear the kids down completly, watch fireworks with more cousins.  We even got to visit an emergency room in the mix of it all.  I was enjoying the trip and the limited responsibility I was very sad to come home I almost started to cry.  Thank you to everyone along our way for making our trip so memorable and fun.  We had many days to just bond as a family and enjoy listening to the kids be together.  I am looking forward to our other summer adventures and friend and family visits.

Memorable

This Memorial holiday we got up before school and took a moment to go and see men and women that have served this country.  I hope it was an experience for my boys to help them appreciate living in this country.  I know I am so grateful for the freedom to act and live in this blessed country.  I am overwhelmed by the blessing I have to be an american.
